It is a sort of living relic of the time before official historical recordings; when humankind believed in ancient, pagan gods and spread around the Known World’s continents. Still, according to most experts, Meridia is not only the oldest known Human civilisation, but also the origin point of said migration.
Those who do not honour Meridia, dishonours the ancient heritage of humankind, no matter how far removed or how much got lost. Not matter how alien or distant the often isolinisic Meridians appear to outsiders, they are still Humans and part of the World, God created in her boundless grace and wisdom.”
